Abhijit: the log looks fine. It says that fglrx is enabled and in use. Please attach the following files:
1) /var/log/Xorg.0.log
2) the output of the dmesg command
3) your current xorg.conf
4) the xorg.conf that the gpu-manager keeps overwriting (you can try generating a new one using the ati-config tool)
This way I can see if you're being hit by the problem discussed here or if it's a separate issue that needs a different fix.
