The two options we've got here are:
1. change the bug number in the existing watch
2. create a new watch for the new bug number. Perhaps attach this watch to the task instead of the old one.
It isn't that uncommon for an upstream bug to be marked as a duplicate and then unduped (or marked a duplicate a second time against a different bug).
