Bug Description
I downloaded and PARTIALLY translated .po file. However when I uploaded this file back (using option - Updated translation) Rosetta somehow thinks that I translated ALL of those strings.
--mail--
On 2010-04-07 19:27z (55 minutes ago), you uploaded 1982
Czech (cs) translations for ubuntu-manual in Ubuntu Manual lucid-e1 in Launchpad.
----
The strange thing is: in that mail Rosetta told me I uploaded 1982 translations. How could I when our project has only 1674 strings? See https:/
Another strange thing is: although with any string You can see there is "Translated and reviewed by Martin Lukeš 50 minutes ago", there is still also 97.07% untranslated.... which is good regarding all those blank un/translations.
Both original and my partially translated files are included in an archive.
Maybe I should add that I was translating by using Virtaal 0.5.2.
I also diffed both files myself and only differences are heading and my added translations. There is no difference between untranslated strings from new and old .po files.
Launchpad will only consider newly translated strings as coming from Last-Translator as indicated in the PO file. The skew in the numbers probably comes from obsolete messages (they are translated as well, even though they are removed from the template: if they are ever re-introduced, they'll again be used).
I've tried checking one of messages that is both in previous and new PO file, and it's correctly attributed to someone else: https:/ /translations. launchpad. net/ubuntu- manual/ lucid-e1/ +pots/ubuntu- manual/ cs/112/ +translate
I guess the only thing that's confusing is the number of translations, and we should fix that.
