Comment 8 for bug 46591

For Firefox 3, sending "Cache-Control: public" will allow it to cache SSL content to disk with its default settings. Tom has updated staging.launchpad.net to serve the /+icing directory with this HTTP response header and things seem to work fine. We'll probably do the same for the lpnet and edge instances shortly.
