We need a solution for this that handles HTML added TTW as well as HTML or text sent in by mail. Smells like an adapter or utility, but could be some shared function as well. Most content types (e.g. wiki) will need a variant on this for display in search results.
We're just following the same policy as KARL2, which we could trawl for the code for the HTML or text cases. Or, just reverse-engineer the policy, which I believe is seems to use html2text.
