I'm seeing this now in the logs on one of my canonistack test environments. Everything was working fine; the environment has been operating fine, then status messages from the agents dry up, some agents (but not all) go into lost state, and the log shows the same message constantly: https://pastebin.canonical.com/161815/

I haven't yet restarted jujud-machine-0. Please let me know if you'd like any debugging done before I do so.
