Looking at the logs I can see a couple of problems, but the main issue is this:
ERROR juju.worker runner.go:219 exited "uniter": leadership failure: unable to make a leadership cla
im: no active lease manager
Caused by bug 1468994, which most likely already fixed in 1.24 by http://
Since 1.24.1 has several known issues (which have been either fixed or will be shortly), I'd recommend trying 1.24.2 once it's out.
Several 1.24 upgrade issues can also be related to this:

2) bug 1466969, addressed by https:/
(seems to only affect local environments upgraded to 1.24, but worth mentioning)
