Bug Description
In the gradient tool, inkscape presents you with a
pull-down menu of user-defined gradients. Could
something like this be added for solid colors as well
(for both fills and strokes), so a user could save a
set of standard colors that they would like to use
throughout a particular image? I find it slightly
tedious to define colors with the sliders or wheel time
after time when I'm simply using the same color as i've
already used in the image.

I agree. This would be very helpful. Particularly for black and
white where it is tedious to define them before use.
