@David Mathog - another example of the text rendering regressions related to changes in r12488 - this time half of the text is cut off at certain zoom levels instead of leading or trailing characters:

Like duplicate bug #1441371, the test case in bug #1450675 includes all information required to reproduce it (SVG file, links to the fonts used).
