I have the same problem in Ubuntu Oneiric 11.10 alpha 2 AMD 64, both for indicator-weather and indicator-desktopnova.

Finally, indicator-weather is well installed and works, but I still get the error message in Synaptic or terminal with apt-get install for other programs.
