I compared the logo proportions in the scalable svgs just now (attached), overlaying the svg from the official artwork page on top of the logo from Human. They're proportioned very similarly--the new logo may be slightly thicker (of course, I'm not sure how that holds up as it scales down).
The big difference I noticed is that the logo in Human has a shine on it, which necessarily changes the colors in the shiny parts of the logo.
From a branding perspective, I don't find that acceptable. But perhaps it's a trade-off for consistency wrt lighting and perspective w/in the icon set?
