Doh! Thankfully, I still have d-feet running and all the apps that were running before I had to kill hud-service. On the session bus, 1:19 is /usr/lib/firefox/firefox - the first object path I see for firefox is: /com/canonical/menu/1600078.

Presumably, we could add some extra details (atleast the pid) to DBusMenuCollector::openMenu() make tracking this issue down easier?
