Hi Badal,

this is not a change which I consider appropriate for a patch-level upgrade (3.17.10 → 3.17.11). This change alone would clearly justify a bump to 3.18.

As the hplip Debian package maintainer, I expected to "just" get the new upstream patch-level release, build, test and upload to unstable. With that change (amongst others, unfortunately), I need to prepare a migration path which is unexpected from a patch-level upgrade.
