The thrust of most of the posts seems to be about police abuse, and many people in BCND seem to be the exact kind of people you're describing. There's a lot of blanket cop hate too, naturally, because they're swamped in an endless deluge of stories about that abuse.

A lot of regulars on this sub, too, have a stilted idea of what constitutes abuse and/or care infinitely less about police homicides than flimsy provocations.
