I'm not on my machine right now.
  Here's the case when it appeared:

I had tags: tag1 and tag2 with colors blue and orange respectively

Task structure:
   Task-1
       Sub-task1
       Sub-task2
      Sub-task3

Select Task-1. Click on Ctrl-T.
Add tags tag1 & tag2 through that and select "add to subtasks" option

In the browser window, the color code of tag2(as it is added later) in front of the tasks is shown and tag1 is not shown. When I then select the task, the tag1's color is also shown.
