Just installed Jaunty Beta 1. This bug _still_ exists here.
Same bug as way back in Breezy, when I first saw it. Perhaps the oldest bug in Ubuntu - except for bug 1??
If this is a caching of the icons problem (most common reason I hear) then why isn't it a problem for the gnome menu-bar (applications - places - system menu)?
I think the solution would be found with finding the reason why the menu-bar doesn't have a caching problem and implementing the same solution for the menu-button.
