Bug Description
I'm not really sure if this could be considered as a bug, but to me this really is a huge problem. If I were to receive an e-mail with attachments in large sizes, the text of the mail or any other information regarding the mail does not show-up until all the attachments are downloaded. This sometimes takes a very long time (especially if your attachments' sizes add up to something like 20-30 mb) just to be able to read the actual mail. The application should allow me to choose to download attachments, not do it automatically.

This is a combination of two known issues we want to work on in the next release:

Smarter dealing with attachments is something we want to attack in 0.3.
As for choosing to download attachments, I can see that, especially if Geary asked only if the attachment(s) were of a large size. I'm not sure it makes sense for Geary to ask about every little attachment. I've ticketed that here: http://
