Note, that is a feature request, can't be fixed as a bug. I suggest to design a spec for that. For example, Fuel could leverage object storages (swift, ceph+RADOS) deployed with environments to store backups with expiration policies. I believe that'd be a better way to store/rotate logs than use a local storage on master node. Also, backups worth nothing w/o recovery validation procedure, so this should be covered as well.
