I have attached the screenshot of the problem.
It somehow affects QT4 in the same way (at least on Gnome desktop).

Also, changing hinting in Appearance-> Fonts doesn't change the appearance of gnome-terminal fonts, you may set even Monochrome, font still remains the same blurry
