I'm noticing HORRIBLE performance in general with FireFox. I remember this back
in the Mozilla 1.6 days. It turned out to be a memory leak on that issue. When
running Horde (www.horde.org -- a web based mail client) the site refreshes
every 5 mintues. I'm just guessing here, but perhaps the meta refresh, or
javascript refresh, just isn't releasing the memory from the previous page.

After leaving my laptop (2.4 gHz w/ 1G memory) running for 24 hours, refreshing
away at my.yahoo.com and Horde, FireFox will gobble up almost 300M of memory.
Making it perform /really/ badly. On numerous occasions I've even had to just
kill the process.

I'm not sure how to provide debug information on what's being gobbled up, but
I'd happily perform some debug steps/logging for anyone whom needs it.

Cheers!
