You implemented something that is not standardized yet, and
only inkscape can deal with it (not any other reference svg
implementation can do it). At least you could use another
file extension for inkscape files then, since it's the only
app able to open them. Like .ink or something.
Please, don't go down the "it's not a bug, it's a feature" road.
