Support for custom tags for contacts would be a nice addition to Dexter. The user should be able to tag contacts with any number of tags such as "friends" "school" "work" "ubuntu" etc and have these tags included in the search results.
In Google contacts these are called "groups" and their implementation is reasonably well done.
