Same problem here running Hardy. Only bluetooth doesn't work.

 sudo modprobe toshiba_acpi
FATAL: Error inserting toshiba_acpi (/lib/modules/2.6.24-21-generic/kernel/drivers/acpi/toshiba_acpi.ko): No such device

Brightness works well.

This is a toshiba satellite A300.
