I'm experiencing the same problem with 9.04.
NFS doesn't mount on boot.
My boot sequence looks like this:
* Mounting local file systems... [OK]
* Activating swapfile swap... [OK]
* Configuring network interfaces... [OK]
* Starting portmap daemon... [OK]
* Starting NFS common utilities [OK]
* Waiting for /var/www... [fail] <-before it writes fail, system waits for a few sec.
* Waiting for (bunch of other nfs mounts) [fail]
* Settings up console font and keymap... [OK]

After that, system boots up normally.
