In Ubuntu 23.04/lunar those are gone on my system:

# update-initramfs -u -k all
update-initramfs: Generating /boot/initrd.img-6.2.0-1002-lowlatency
update-initramfs: Generating /boot/initrd.img-6.2.0-18-generic

# grub-install
Installing for x86_64-efi platform.
Installation finished. No error reported.

# update-grub
