Thank you for reporting these problems
This version is actually a downgrade to the 3.3.2, because we couldn't make
it in time for the release of Ubuntu 14.04.

so I'm not sure, but maybe something went wrong during the "upgrade".
anyway, I suggest you to use the weekly PPA, which has the latest beta
version.
