lp:~larstiq/bzr/bug541626 takes the approach of implementing _find_ancestors nearly the same way as CombinedGraphIndex.get_parent_map. It seems to work for bug541626.sh, but that might be accidental.

Jam: could you give it a look and say if this is the right direction to go?
