Bug Description
This issue is dear to me so I'm reporting it at the risk of this bug being innappropriate.
The current scrolling speed is just ludicrously fast. Example video:

The user is barely moving his fingers and it's gliding away at a very fast speed. It should definitely be more mac-like in that there's a natural and smooth acceleration tied with the user's gestures.
I'm unsure as to if this is xorg's issue or utouch since the implementation of smooth scrolling is now handled by utouch.

Hi Chauncellor,
The scrolling speed is a personal preference. We don't yet have a mechanism for setting the proper scroll speed across applications, but it is definitely on the roadmap of things we need to do.
However, I'm going to close this bug because it is a general issue that requires lots of smaller bits of work to resolve, and we are well aware of the issue. Having these types of bugs clutters our bug reports, making it hard to see what we really need to work on.
