Bug Description
I hate to say this, but Gwibber (a.k.a.: The Client That Needs To Be Deleted) beats Polly in this aspect.
The compose box of Polly, when opened, makes the toolbar that contains it to grow and, in consequence, pushing down most of the window content down brusquely. This is not nice, some people could get confused and/or surprised because the text they were reading moved unexpectedly.
Proposed ways to solve this:
1.- Add an opening animation to the Compose Box so it grows
(and pushes content down) smoothly
2.- Make the Compose Box an overlay (like Gwibber's)
3.- The Compose Box opens instead in a separate modal dialog

I originally tried to do an overlay, but the GTK2 way of doing this is hackish and I faced some bugs due to the stream area being a scrolled window.
Since GTK3 introduced GtkOverlay, this will be much easier now.
