Bug Description
Binary package hint: compiz
As a stop gap measure, force a resync of the xserver window tree structure and the corresponding internal structure in compiz. It's when they get out of sync that compiz gets stuck and can't get itself out of trouble.

So I've started work on this ... it will be distributed as another plugin so we can just disable it in the config if something screws up.
