Hi !
I report this bug in Gip Project Issues too (http://
What I did :
1. Enter 192.168.1.1 as IP adress
2. Enter 255.0.0.0 as Network Mask
3. Validate
Network adress is OK : 192.0.0.0
Binary expected is : 11000000.
But Gip shows : 11000000.

The HEX Network field was also not updated when "Network mask" or "Prefix lenght" were changed by the user; some update functions were missing. I just wrote a patch correcting this behavior.
I will soon be uploading a package correcting this bug on the Debian repository. I will make sure it gets sync'ed with Ubuntu asap.
Thank you for reporting this bug.
Cheers,
Ignace M
