Bug Description

Binary package hint: gcalctool

1) Ubuntu 10.10
2) 5.32.0-0ubuntu4
3) gcalctool was expected to display the new indian rupee sign[0] in the currency conversion (U+20B9)
4) gcalctool displays instead the (generic) rupee sign[1] (not really true, it displays U+0052 and U+0073 to represent this sign instead of U+20A8)

Hello,

I've sent a fix for this bug. I just changed a line in the currency.h file. Here's a screenshot showing the new Indian Rupee sign in gcalctool.

Bye.

Hello again,

I sent a patch for this bug to a GNOME Bugzilla report at https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=636587. As far as I understand this is the best way to do it.

Bye.
