Binary package hint: evince

If you manually zoom a pdf document using the - key, to a small size, Evince incorrectly reports the zoom level as 50%, and doesn't show any zoom levels below this.

hi,

while zooming in also something unexpected happens. The dropdown box stucks at 300% while at zoom level 400%. Only after clicking 400% twice (!) the text is updated.

This might be fixed upstream in Evince 3.7.4:

* The zoom control has now an entry that always shows the current zoom factor and allows to enter custom zoom factors in addition to the predefined ones.

The latest upstream version is Evince 3.7.91.

upstream closed the bug with that comment:

"Hi, this bug has become obsolete as evince 3.8 will have a Combobox Entry and
will show the exact zoom."

3.8 should be in Ubuntu next cycle

Confirmed, 3.8.2-0ubuntu3 keeps the zoom value correct.
