[Regression]Mouse wheel scrolling doesn't work

the problem started with the latest update of gwibber i.e. 2.31.3

I am hitting this issue on fedora as well:

I can confirm this issue. Also touchpad scrolling doesn't work. And up and down arrows don't work.

Dragging or clicking the scrollbar works, but anything else that usually scrolls (mouse wheel in window or over scrollbar, arrow keys) doesn't.

I can confirm mouse wheel scrolling doesn't work in any of the main streams using 2.31.4
This is a really irritating bug. I didn't realize how much I relied on scrolling till I lost it.

I suspect this was bug was caused by fixing the scrolling bug #327172

I fixed this one.

Scrolling via arrow keys or pgUp pgDown still doesn't work :(
