Mouse cursor not visible in Ubuntu 10.04 upgrade

Bug Description
Today I upgraded my system to Ubuntu 10.04.
After upgrade , I am unable to see mouse cursor ( after login)
If I type sudo lshw -c display in terminal , I am able to get the cursor.
Can u advice what to do?
