Gwibber Default language is French for Belgian Users

Gwibber should have the same behaviour as the other applications in the desktop. I'm not sure how it could change your locale.

Could you give us the output of the 'locale' command on the system you experienced this issue? Thanks!

I have the same problem. Just like David Planella said: I think Gwibber should have the same behaviour as the other applications in the desktop.

Thanks for the screenshot. That looks to me that Gwibber is already correctly showing Dutch translations, but that the page returned from Facebook is in French. If it's so, that might be a bug in Facebook, or in Gwibber sending Facebook the wrong locale, I'm not sure how the communication works there.

Could someone confirm this?

But I still get the same as in "screenshot gwibber.png" that I've uploaded before, namely French information instead of Dutch.

Seems to be more than only "French for Belgian users", but also are languages are involved. See bug https://bugs.launchpad.net/gwibber/+bug/571132. I guess it's better to post comments over there as it deals with the bug in a more general way.
