Bug Description
Binary package hint: kdebase-workspace
When switching applications with the netbook application switcher, focus is supposed to move to the new app and the panel is supposed to autohide. Since it doesn't, the panel remains visible until some other event causes focus to switch as so the U/I appears very inconsistent. This is a significant usability issue with Plasma Netbook.
Upstream committed revision 1077918 to backport the fix for this to the 4.4 branch. If this doesn't fix it, we probably need to consider turning off the autohide by default.

I've validated that the change in 1077918 resolves this problem with KDE 4.4. After the beta freeze is over, I'll upload the fix.
