Did you try test-building this in lucid? For me the build took hours (it never finished) and inkscape spew out messages like this without end:
** (inkscape:21087): WARNING **: helper-fns::helperfns_read_vector() Unable to convert ",0.8571428571428572,1,1" to number

I had the same problem (tested in amd64 lucid pbuilder environment). Either provide a build log or find a fix for it. Then resubscribe ubuntu-universe-sponsors.

This appears to be a bug/issue in Inkscape as even the previous version that is in Lucid can not be rebuilt, at least not reasonably. It is up to 6GB build log file on my machine and still going.

inkscape appears to get caught in an infinite loop on this file: office/telephone/mobile_phone_01.svg

I commented it out of the build and the build completed. I will be uploading it in a few minutes, but there definitely is still some sort of problem with inkscape, it should at most just fail to convert the file to png not run forever.

This bug was fixed in the package openclipart - 0.18+dfsg-9ubuntu1

---------------
openclipart (0.18+dfsg-9ubuntu1) lucid; urgency=low

  * Merge from debian testing. Remaining changes:
    - Skip office/telephone/mobile_phone_01.svg as it appears to be buggy and
      causes inkscape to get caught in an infinite loop.
      Closes LP: #516771, #529625
    - Use inkscape flag -z "Do not use X server"

I'm setting the importance to Medium since this is likely a corner case for this particular svg.
