Bug Description
Binary package hint: gnome-screensaver
Since a recent lucid gnome-screensaver upload, my screen no longer fades out when gnome-screensaver comes up. It simply waits a couple of seconds and then switches the screen black.
Steps to reproduce:
1- Hit Ctrl-Alt-L
2- Wait a couple of seconds
3- Screen instantly turns black
