crash seen while trying to pull the vim hg repo

I am using bzr-hg from trunk (maybe a few days old) on ubuntu 9.10 with bzr from the repo.
While trying to pull the vim hg repository the following crash was seen.

So I tried this again.
What I found is that if I get a fresh branch, everything goes fine.
However, once I have this copy and if a few more revisions are added to the server, doing a bzr pull crashes. For some reason pulling new revisions from the server fails while getting a full copy works always works.
The latest crash report is attached.
