Bug Description
SCIM often causes the keyboard to stop responding when using kile. Last time it happened after using Backspace to erase several letters in a row, although no particular keystroke seems to initiate the failure to respond. This is not an issue related to compiling the .tex file. Furthermore, restarting SCIM causes kile to close as well.
I am using ubuntu 8.10.
