Bug Description

Binary package hint: nautilus

Since version 2.25 (Jaunty), nautilus now provides /usr/share/applications/nautilus.browser.desktop, which causes a 'File Browser' launcher to be shown in Applications -> System Tools. This is not necessary, as the file browser is easily accessible from the Places menu, and the addition of this launcher also causes the "System Tools" sub-menu to be shown on the default install (with just a single launcher), when it was hidden previously

The same goes for dolphin, it also puts an icon there (actually the same icon).

Wouter - it would be better if you opened a separate bug report for that.

I don't think we'd fix this one for dolphin anyways.

Exactly. On KDE all appearances of File Browser (Dolphin) derive from that desktop file.
