update xfce 4.4.2 to 4.4.3

This should be handled via some SRUs for hardy and intrepid, but this needs to be discussed further, as the xfwm4 changes are not bugfix-only (this may be the only possible blocker).

I believe its important Xubuntu adds 4.4.3 to the repos. Its an important release, since it seems to improve stability of Xfce.

However, the Xubuntu team could wait until 4.6 is out and add that to the repos. 4.6 is meant to be out by the end of December.

Xfce 4.4.3 should be uploaded to jaunty soon (and it'll be updated to xfce 4.6 in december).

It hasn't be decided yet if Xfce 4.4.3 is suitable for hardy and intrepid as well, but you can already test the packages available here (to detect any regression from the 4.4.2): https://launchpad.net/~xfce-pkg-updates/+archive

Almost done in jaunty, remaining packages to upload: thunar, xfdesktop4 and mousepad.

Is there any need for 4.4.3 in Jaunty. Why have you not uploaded 4.6 beta.

Yes, it's needed if we want to backport it to hardy and intrepid.
And the 4.6 won't probably be uploaded before the next beta or the first
release candidate.
