Bug Description
Binary package hint: totem
I'm using totem 2.24 on intrepid.
Totem used to be able to keep playing a file even after you deleted, moved or renamed it. And I honestly always found it an extremely cool feature. But not anymore, now it will stop after any of these operations.

Should it be able to do so? I have a bad security feeling with this "feature".
Particularly with deleting the file it's playing, does it just keep reading the area the file used to be at. What happens when a new file gets written there, while it is playing? This had big security ramifications (I think), and could be the cause of many bugs. Would you call this expected behavior?
