Bug Description
Tuxpaint, Tuxmath, Tuxtype, and others severely affect speed and often freeze and crash out on thin terminal based systems. We have noticed that on a LTSP based system, whenever more than 15 users start using the tux suite concurrently with other users on open office and firefox the system grinds to a halt, and the terminals running tux suite freeze up. This is most likely due to the way SDL is being used on multi-user systems. The tux suite is sort of an essential part of any primary school, and for thin terminal labs, its a shame they have to disable it to stop it from taking down the rest of the network.

I'm going to send this to the tux4kids mailing lists for comments. We will need more information but I'm not sure what.
Have you tried SDL applications that aren't from tux4kids?
