Bug Description
Binary package hint: cupsys
I am running intrepid (up to date) on my laptop and hardy on
my desktop. (hence cupsys 1.3.7 vs 1.3.8)
Printing a test page from the web interface of cups on my desktop is okay,
but the test-page is not printed correctly from my laptop. The Imageable
area seems to be wrong, the borders of the test picture do not fully fit. Other
apps/sources yield equal results.
I copied the .ppd used on my desktop to my laptop and tried that which
made no difference, so it cannot be the .ppd file. The paper type is set
to A4 in both cases. I do not see what other things might have an effect
on this.
Btw. I also tried various other .ppds which are suggested at openprinting.org
including brother-
Please let me know if there is any additional information I could contribute
which might be useful in tracking this down.
Looking at the different test page output I just realized that on intrepid - no matter
what driver I select - it always reports "Product: GPL Postscript", while on the correct
output from hardy/cups 1.3.7 it correctly reports "Product: Brother MFC-7820N"
