Bug Description
Binary package hint: scim-anthy
scim-anthy has crashed down in some situations. When I convert character string, it happens.
I test with Ubuntu 8.04/x86, but other versions will affected.
[How to reproduce]
1) Open terminal
2) $ gedit
3) Activate scim(type [ctrl]+[space])
4) Type some words ; for example: "るいヴぃとん"(you can input with 'ruiviton'(*)).
It called "pre-edit" phase.
5) Type [space], so scim crashed down and output error messages on your termial.
-------
$ gedit
An IOException at scim_bridge_
An IOException at filter_key_event ()
An IOException at key_snooper ()
An IOException occurred at scim_bridge_
The messenger is now down
-------
(*) "ルイヴィトン"(it transformed from "るいヴぃとん") mean "Louis Vuitton" in Japanese.
When it work normaly, you can see Japanese transformed text(For example, type "nihongo;にほんご" and type [space], you will see "日本語"). This is serious problem for Japanese users.
