I can reproduce this on Debian unstable when using embedded lib2geom. But comparing the code with embedded lib2geom and packaged 1.2.2-3 version, they are same code.

Then I find the tests in lib2geom also fail on i386, so I report it to https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=1051980

If I rebuild lib2geom with nocheck on Debian, and rebuild inkscape with that, I get the same error with Ubuntu.

It's caused by gcc-13 which defaults to -fexcess-precision=standard for c++.

I have difficulty to make git-ubuntu works for this package... due to such `..git` files https://git.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/inkscape/tree/src/3rdparty/2geom/..git. So please see the attached debdiff.

This bug was fixed in the package inkscape - 1.2.2-2ubuntu4

inkscape (1.2.2-2ubuntu4) mantic; urgency=medium

  * use -fexcess-precision=fast to compile 2geom. (LP: #2036181)
    Since gcc-13, excess precision support has been implemented for C++.
    -fexcess-precision=fast restores previous behavior.
