Syslog shows "multipathd[3142]: failed to increase buffer size" in Ubuntu 22.04

The commit is part of the multipath-tools 0.8.7 upstream release.

LP: #1946834 aims upgrading multipath-tools to 0.8.8, which will include the mentioned fix.

Athos, could you mark this bug as fixed in your d/ch entry, too, please? Or as a dupe or something to show this is being worked on and will be fixed via your 0.8.8 upload? TIA.

      change from the default selector and should be able to do so.

      socket to close, so to avoid multipathd.socket unit failure.
