Bug Description

The following error is seen in the nova-compute logs on the undercloud in all recent jobs:

IOError: [Errno 2] No such file or directory: '/etc/nova/cloud-config.json'

This causes all of the deployments to fail on NoHostFound errors.

I agree. The diff between a passing and failing job looks like this: https://www.diffchecker.com/lB49bGQZ instack-undercloud and puppet-tripleo are the only likely candidates, and the puppet-tripleo change that merged today had passed ci. The instack-undercloud change never even had an ovb job run on it.

    Revert "Add code to support novajoin in the undercloud"

    The most recent patch set in this change never passed ci. Since
    we're now having nova issues in the undercloud, I'm trying a
    revert to see if it fixes the problem.
